FAQs
What makes RAWR diferent to other raw cat foods?
All ingredients are added in a cold environment to preserve the natural vitamin integrity of the food, creating a true carnivore diet designed specifically with cats in mind. The recipe is high in metabolisable energy with no fillers, meaning cats only need around two pouches per day, and all ingredients are carefully selected not only for their freshness but also for their environmentally sustainable benefits.
Is it safe to feed raw?
Cats are built different to us, they have a short digestive tract, so bacteria have less time to multiply.
Their stomach acid is very acidic (pH ~1–2), which kills many pathogens.
In the wild, cats eat freshly killed prey (which can carry bacteria) without issues.
How do I serve it?
Serve straight from the fridge or for maximum tail flicks place in lukewarm water for 20 seconds (enduring not to cook).
We do not recommend microwaving as this isn’t recommended for optimal diet and nutrition outcomes.
Can I refreeze it?
Yes, but only when unopened. RAWR cat food should be used within 2-3 days of opening the pouch.
How long does delivery take?
Our products will ship from Brisbane and delivery time will vary depending on how far away you are from that. However you should expect delivery of your order within 3 to 7 business days. We are currently only delivering to Sydney Metro, Brisbane Metro & Melbourne Metro.
Is the packaging really recyclable?
We know traditional tinned cat food isn’t exactly kind to the planet - and we’re here to do better.
That’s why all our packaging is fully recyclable. So every time you feed your cat, you’re also doing your little bit for our environment.
How do I switch my cat to RAWR?
RAWR cat food is designed to support good gut health but upset tummies can still occur so we recommend introducing raw over a few days with your cats current wet food.
A suggested feeding schedule would be 1/2 a pouch for 2 days, 1 pouch for 2 days, 1.5 pouches for days 5 and 6 and within the week your cat can be transitioned across to RAWR.
If your cat has particularly sensitive stomach, increase each transition by 2 days to gently ease your cat into a more ancestral diet.
