FAQs

All ingredients are added in a cold environment to preserve the natural vitamin integrity of the food, creating a true carnivore diet designed specifically with cats in mind. The recipe is high in metabolisable energy with no fillers, meaning cats only need around two pouches per day, and all ingredients are carefully selected not only for their freshness but also for their environmentally sustainable benefits.

Each RAWR box contains 7 individual pouches.

Simple, convenient, and portioned so you can just open, serve, and go!

Cats are built different to us, they have a short digestive tract, so bacteria have less time to multiply.

Their stomach acid is very acidic (pH ~1–2), which kills many pathogens.

In the wild, cats eat freshly killed prey (which can carry bacteria) without issues.

Serve straight from the fridge, at room temperature or for maximum tail flicks place the unopened pouch in lukewarm water for 20 seconds (ensuring not to cook).

We do not recommend microwaving as this isn’t recommended for optimal diet and nutrition outcomes.

Absolutely! We snap freeze our meals to lock in nutrients and preserve all the goodness, but we know your cat isn’t going to eat it straight from the freezer!

That’s why we carefully thaw each meal before it reaches the refrigerated section at Woolworths, so it’s ready to take home, pop straight into your fridge, and serve with ease.

Simply keep your meal refrigerated and use it by the best before date on the top of the box-there's no need to feed it straight away.

Want to refreeze it? No worries! Once you thaw it again in the fridge, we recommend serving it within 3 days for the freshest mealtime experience for your furry friend.

Yes, but only when unopened. Once you defrost it, RAWR cat food should be used within 2-3 days of opening the pouch.

Our products will ship from Brisbane and delivery time will vary depending on how far away you are from that. However you should expect delivery of your order within 3 to 7 business days. We are currently only delivering to Sydney Metro, Brisbane Metro & Melbourne Metro.

We know traditional tinned cat food isn’t exactly kind to the planet - and we’re here to do better.

That’s why all our packaging is fully recyclable. So every time you feed your cat, you’re also doing your little bit for our environment.

RAWR cat food is designed to support good gut health but upset tummies can still occur so we recommend introducing raw over a few days with your cats current wet food.

A suggested feeding schedule would be 1/2 a pouch for 2 days, 1 pouch for 2 days, 1.5 pouches for days 5 and 6 and within the week your cat can be transitioned across to RAWR.

If your cat has particularly sensitive stomach, increase each transition by 2 days to gently ease your cat into a more ancestral diet.

Yes, RAWR has been formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO cat food nutrient profiles for All Life Stages.

The simple answer? Because chicken is one of the best proteins you can feed a cat.

It's naturally rich in essential amino acids, highly digestible, and has a taste cats know and love. That makes it the perfect foundation for a complete and balanced diet.

By combining premium protein sources for our Kangaroo and Oceanfish variety, we're able to provide a broader range of amino acids, macro minerals and anti-inflammatory fats. Every ingredient in RAWR has a purpose, and every recipe is carefully formulated by our pet nutritionist to help your cat thrive - optimal taste, high quality nutrition, minimal feeds per day and variety in each recipe!

At RAWR, we take food safety seriously.

Our meals are produced using the same cold-chain standards used for human-grade food. The meat arrives cold from our suppliers and remains temperature-controlled throughout production, storage and delivery.

We also maintain strict hygiene and food handling procedures throughout our facility to ensure every meal is fresh, safe and ready to serve.
